About Peter Sangiorgio

Martial arts plays a key role in my life and I have achieved a 6th Degree Black Belt in Karate. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills with my family and friends through instruction and competitions. Over the 31 years I have been with Arrington Watkins Architects, I have managed multiple types of projects including large scale justice facilities, military bases and police and sheriff’s facilities ranging in size and scope from $1 million to $340 million in Arizona and throughout the US. My current role as a Principal leading our Business Development efforts is to communicate our business code of excellence with our existing clients and partners as well as, and potential clients and consultants. I also oversee our Military sector and support the business development efforts in other sectors within the firm. As lead of our Military sector, I am involved throughout the project management process working closely with our team on preliminary design, site investigations and analysis, feasibility studies including preliminary cost estimating, design development, construction document preparation, client communication, bidding, permit procurement, design quality control and construction management.
