About Peter Renteln
Diverting temporarily from my normal line of work, I now have the opportunity to introduce a new way of increasing the number of students entering the STEM fields. Odysseus Quanticus is the name of my company that offers a special textbook which allows students with only a rudimentary knowledge of middle-school math to experience solving real-world engineering and other quantitative problems! A \"learn-by-doing\" style in which problems are presented in a much more inclusive \"solve-the-puzzle\" style to show students that they are, in fact, quite capable of solving math and engineering problems. The math is old but the applications and \"Real-World\" problems are contemporary, realistic and approachable. Please check out my website at: odysseusquanticus.com.
