ABOUT PETER PIRKLBAUER
Peter was appointed Manager in the Emerging Technology and Concepts Group at Airbus Operations in Hamburg in 2012. In this role, Peter has the mission to capture and mature game-changing technologies, processes and business models for future generation products and services.Peter joined Airbus in 2011 to write his Master Thesis within the A350 XWB Configuration Management and directly proceeded to the Cabin 0 Project Management after graduating with honor.He carried up his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Innovation and Product Management at theUniversity of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and worked on various product developments inAustria and abroad. An Erasmus exchange semester took him to the Netherlands where hestudied International Product Design Engineering at the “Hanzehogeschool” in Groningen.In 2009 he moved to Böblingen, Germany and enjoyed working on new Mercedes-Benz cardevelopments at the Innovation Studio of Daimler AG, Germany.
