Led a 100 percent increase in meeting attendance, revenues and sponsorships for the annual convention and nearly doubled membership and participation; serve as the spokesperson for Association and am a recognized leader in the transportation, travel and tourism industry; provide ongoing media outreach through appearances on hundreds of national and local television, radio and print media outlets; oversaw the expansion of ABA’s publications from two to more than eight print and online publications to reach all segments of the industry; created a new Board governance structure that ensures full representation and diversity by every membership segments; grew reserves from $2 million to over $5 million; initiated the purchase and build-out of a new sq. ft. office condo that reduced the Association’s overall cost of operations and allowed it to build equity and remain in D.C. Through government affairs and policy operations, successfully obtained lobbying goals in every federal legislative session; created the Bus Industry Safety Council to ensure the industry makes safety its first priority; built new coalitions and third-party relationships that aid ABA in meeting its legislative, policy and strategic goals. As president of NBTA, the bus ticket revenue clearinghouse, automated operations; expanded it from a U.S. to a North American organization; oversee nearly $200 million in annual ticket exchanges. Established the ABA Foundation and grew revenues and commitments from $1 million to $6 million dollars over the past three years for scholarships and research projects.
