As the Health Club and Membership intern, I will be assisting the health club managers and staff in daily operations of the health club, including guest services, fitness center upkeep, and class coordination. I will also assist with programming throughout the summer for hotel, resort, and local guests. My internship program also gives me the opportunity to create an event on my own as well as the opportunity to run a 5 week resort simulation with a small group of interns. A few other job responsibilities I have are private fitness coordination and live entertainment coordination. Lastly, I will be given a chance to work lifeguarding shifts at the resorts indoor and outdoor pools.
