ABOUT PETER JONES

I am a highly experienced data leader, helping companies unlock the power and value of data to better inform decision-making, improve business performance and drive business transformation. My expertise spans the entire data value chain acquired from 17+ years tackling business challenges for global brands in the retail, travel, loyalty, charity, finance and publishing industries. I\'ve crafted initial data strategies for The Sun and led analytics strategies and deliverables for clients, spearheaded roadmaps and operating models, led data infrastructure and product development, and advised on commercialisation and marketing optimisation. All of which can only take place if supported by the right people, processes and technology.‍ Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide stakeholders at all seniority levels, acting as trusted partner or translator where needed to ultimately achieve company objectives and goals. I have a collaborative management style and enjoy developing individuals and teams. I\'m most proud to have turned around a team that was under-performing, helping to retain a $1.2M hospitality client in the process and generate $100-200k incremental revenue each year. For 3.5 years, I also volunteered as a Head of Data and Analytics at a London educational charity called Ignite Hubs, putting the data foundations in place to help improve operations and service delivery, measure impact and facilitate desire to scale nationally.
