Fiber optic splicer and telecommunications professional with over 30 years experience in telecommunications & low voltage service delivery, infrastructure, OSP/ISP installation, maintenance, repair, & buildouts. Loyal and dedicated team member, having spent over 30 years with one company. Don’t let that scare you, I started as a teenager. I’m a young and healthy 53 years old. Follows directions easily or can work independently without supervision with attention to detail and safety. Proven team leading skills, having lead teams of up to 10 people and managing multiple projects of up to 3-4 weeks in duration. Skills include, but are not limited to: customer focus, clear and concise communication skills, problem isolation and resolution, underground, buried, manhole, and aerial fiber optic and copper cable splicing, troubleshooting, and failure resolution using VFL, OTDR iOLM, volt/ohm meters, VIAVI/JDSU meters, and numerous other telecom and low voltage testers. Underground and aerial work, urban, rural, residential, business, industrial, and new construction work settings. Pole setting and removal, pole climbing with gaffs or ladders, placement and removal of fiber optic and copper distribution cables, aerial lift (bucket truck) and line truck (digger Derrick) certified, trained and competent. Current valid CDL- A drivers license holder.
