Analytics group manager within the Skandia Group. Inspire people to work more with data and analytics by showing good examples and help people to get started and not be afraid of that it\'s to technical. Started a very small BICC (one person) 11 years ago. Proved that solutions can be build in weeks and not years (now it is hours). Implemented a decentralized Self Service BI organisation, analytic plattform and new agile processes. A small central team 3-5 persons and then Super users/developers all around the organisation. 10 years ago 1 person in central team, 0 super user out in the organisation, 10 consumers and 1 dashboard. Today 4 persons in central team, 50 super user out in the consumers and dashboards. I have been involved in building solutions for CRM/Sales, AML, Customer support, Risk, Insurance business, Finance, Investment management, HR, IT etc. Peter is running around in the organisation and identify needs in the analytics/BI domain. Focus on fast deliveries, improvements in small steps and frequently. Technology is not the most important part. Everything depends on engaged People, good Process and then and then the tool/technology at hand. Good solutions are built when people work close together with an agile mind set and towards a common goal. Always start with the business need and focus on getting the solution in version 1.0 as fast as possible. Working primarily with Microsoft BI, Tableau, Power BI and Alteryx.
