ABOUT PETER MARSHALL

I a partner in the Stephens Scown Truro Family children team and a member of the Law Societies Family and Children`s Panels as well as being accredited by Resolution as a family expert with expertise in private child work advocacy and domestic violence work. I am a member of Resolutions national domestic violence committee and provide training both locally and nationally for both solicitors and not for profit sector I regularly undertake advocacy in the Family Court at both Magistrate and District/Circuit Judge level on all aspects of family work including care, private/ publicly funded children and Representation for clients on International relocation. I have now been qualified as a solicitor for 35 years and in addition to my legal work have in my time been Vice Chair and Chair of Resolutions Domestic Violence Committee,a member of The Cornwall Law Society Committee,Chair of the St Mewan Primary School PTA and then Vice Chair and Chair of Governors which led to becoming Chair of the newly ( then ) created academy St Mewan was one of the founder members of. Within Stephens Scown I have been at various times head of the the(now closed) St Austell family team,Head of the St Austell office and member of the firms Management Board and Partner Council. Outside of work my personal interests are mainly sports related particularly rugby( sadly now only watching), squash,archery and surfing.
