The EBC works on issues related to the evaluation, repair, and retrofit of existing buildings. We work closely with our counterparts in other chapters to provide code change proposals, reviews, and commentaries on existing building guidelines, codes and standards. In 2020 the EBC produced the \"San Diego Vulnerable Building Inventory\" as a part of the San Diego EERI Earthquake Scenario Study.
