About Peter Laux
I am a dedicated and collaborative finance student at Miami University’s Farmer School of Business, passionate about driving impactful results through teamwork and innovative problem-solving. I am involved on campus as I am in the Miami Finance Association and Blockchain Club. The Miami Finance Association has allowed me to meet experienced leaders in the finance world and apply what I\'ve learned. I am also a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. Here, I help with planning for social events as well as outreach for the events. I have had the opportunity to complete meaningful volunteer work. The Dragonfly Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports the families of children with cancer. I worked closely with a team of 8 to create merchandise, hold events, and raise awareness for this cause. We ended up raising over for Dragonfly Foundation. I have also run youth basketball camps and coached kids K-6 in my community. Teaching the youth in my small community was a great experience. I am currently seeking a finance internship for the summer of 2026 as well as the summer of 2027.
