About Peter Lapointe

My career began in compliance with my co-op at Northeastern\'s EH & S Office, auditing teaching labs and commissioning new spaces on campus. As my focus shifted into manufacturing, I was drawn to process improvements and efficiency on the production floor. My time at Hasbro as a co-op helped reinforce those ideas from the upstream side as I supported new product formulation and vendor qualifications. After graduating from Northeastern, I jumped in headfirst to chemicals manufacturing at Twin Rivers Tehcnologies and learned the ins and outs of the industry. I strongly believe there is always room to improve, and those conversations are some of the most crucial to be shared across all teams involved. Every perspective is equally important when the goal is shared success. As we navigated the new normal of working in a global pandemic, there were plenty of opportunities to improve and I helped update our documentation and processes to accommodate this new normal. I was fortunate enough to rejoin Hasbro in 2021 as an Associate Reliability Engineer supporting some of my favorite product lines from my childhood including Spiderman, Marvel Legends, and Ghostbusters. In addition to supporting brands I already loved, I have been able to join a focused team enhancing the Haslab segment to deliver premium, limited run products designed with the fan in mind.

   Feb 2024 — Present

   Coordinate with other ERG Champions to facilitate community-based events for Hasbro employees. Plan ERG involvement in annual Pride celebrations. Support ERG members\' needs and advocate for internal improvements focused on LGBTQIA+ wellbeing.
