About Peter Langshaw

Senior executive leader with over 30 years of global transactional banking and corporate banking experience, spanning over 9 countries and 6 continents. More recently, Peter was the Managing Director/Global Head for Natural Resources and Clean Energy Transition (NRCET) and also the Public Sector Head, for Trade & Treasury Solutions (TTS) for Citi in Latin America. Responsible for developing and executing the TTS sales strategy for Citi’s largest corporate portfolio, comprising energy, power, chemical clients globally, focusing a new ecosystem approach and a clear pathway for growth and innovation. Peter led substantial business growth over a two year period, and transformed business practices, including supporting clients meet energy transition and sustainability goals. The business was refocused to also capture new, high growth, clean energy transition clients or ‘green unicorns’ of the future. Tasked with developing and implementing a 5 year growth strategy within the Latam Public Sector, by partnering with Banking and Markets to leverage the full power of a OneCiti approach to diversify and deepen the client base. Over two years, the business was successfully diversified, resulting in the business becoming more resilient and diversified. As a testament to this success, a key client was awarded the global Adam Smith Award in 2023 - a first for a Public Sector client in this region. Throughout his distinguished global career, Peter has brought high energy, leading with a client and front-facing focus, implementing innovative and strategic leadership coupled with tactical execution as well as effective integration of global Banking and Markets to create value added solutions. Moving forward, Peter\'s focus is to leverage his extensive experience, strong risk and credit background, and considerable network within a new and exciting opportunity.
