ABOUT PETER LANG

I’m a Medical Doctor with strong clinical background with over 14 years in practice, 8 year of experience as Project manager and over 9 years of experience in Clinical Research working for CROs and in house with a pharmaceutical company, during my 8 years in a managing role as project manager, I managed groups of multidisciplinary professionals, including several doctors, provided the necessary leadership to meet and exceed the expectations, creating a healthy steady growth for the company, for that purpose it was necessary to identify risks and challenges and create plan to minimize or overcome them and also identify procedural problems and create action plans to correct them and prevent future occurrences.I created marketing strategies and a distribution network and established a working relationship with Medical Associations and Universities to recognize our company as an authorized provider of continuous medical education for which they would provide CEUs for our courses. I managed projects and a team of internal and outsourced members; negotiated domestic and international contracts.In clinical research I manage a cross functional team with about 20 direct reports, I’m passionate about people development, I also monitored over 16 multi-national trials over 40 sites with over 3500 subjects enrolled. In my role as CRA, I selected, initiated, monitored and closed out sites for trials in Phase 2, 3 and 4 in multi-national trials. I also performed regulatory submissions to IRBs and MoH, including licenses to import study drugs, laboratory kits and study supplies.I have significant clinical trial experience working in Endocrinology, Cardiovascular Disease, Oncology, Pain Management, Vaccines (adults and pediatrics), Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Autoimmune Diseases, Obesity and Dermatology.I work well under pressure, I’m proactive, motivated, self-driven and a fast learner with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
