Engine Build-GEnx 1B /GEnx 2B Aircraft EngineMy role as a Approved Mechanic at GE Caledonian is within the Engine Assembly area working on the GENX 1B, and 2B Engine platforms. My roles and responsibilities include• Ability to carry out complex tasks which include disassembly/assembly of gas turbine engines within GE.• Performing maintenance, repair, overhaul and inspection on all required components.• Comply with all Company procedures in respect to Health and Safety, Quality and current working practices.• The ability to obtain and understand Engine Maintenance Manual (EMM), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts catalogue (IPC).• Use SAP systems to create & update jobs, check stock, adding planned materials and hours for jobs/repairs and to display tasks.
