I’m passionate about Italy and this remarkable region’s heritage of producing truly world class wine. Previously, I served as Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of Expedia Group, having been a director since the completion of the IAC/Expedia Group spin-off. As CEO, I led the global business through a period of significant transformation, emphasizing strategic focus, operational discipline, and long-term value creation in a dynamic global travel market.Before Expedia Group, I was Chief Executive Officer of Tribune Media Company, guiding the organization through a pivotal transition that culminated in its successful merger with Nexstar Media Group. I also served on Tribune Media’s board during this period.My background includes extensive experience as a private equity investor and operator, including serving as Managing Partner at InterMedia Partners, Senior Managing Director and Principal at Alpine Capital, and founder of Gemini Associates. Earlier in my career, I held roles at Home Shopping Network and Whittle Communications.In addition to operating roles, I have held numerous board and chairmanship positions, including Chairman of Hemisphere Media Group and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of trivago N.V.
