About Peter Kaplan
I am a Certified Safety Professional who has worked on various projects consisting of runway, bridge, building and tunnel construction from conception to completion. I have efficiently used several corporations’ safety programs to effectively mitigate construction risk for all parties involved. Reporting directly to corporation leadership, I have been responsible for overseeing the implementation of the safety program. As part of my day to day operations; I have maintained accurate records of safety concerns, developed risk mitigation plans, tracked state and federal OSHA compliance and DOB site safety compliance, providing recommendations to prevent and/or resolve safety violations. I have performed follow-up investigations of jobsite accidents, accompanied insurance and owner representatives on periodic inspections. Responding to and following up on recommendations provided by the insurance company and owners while actively participating in weekly jobsite safety meetings.
