Advocating for the “little guy” against large and powerful institutions (public and private). I represent these clients in the following types of cases:• Sexual Abuse/Exploitation• Negligent Security Resulting in Assault, Rape or Homicide• Psychological/Psychiatric Abuse and Malpractice• Wrongful Death and Catastrophic InjuriesMy practice predominantly focuses on advocating for victims of childhood sexual abuse against perpetrators and institutions that fostered or concealed abuse. In 2022, I was one of the lawyers who helped obtain a reported $14.5 million settlement from the federal government for victims of abuse within Indian Health Services. In the Spring of 2010, I was part of the Plaintiff\'s trial team in a child sexual abuse case that resulted in a $19.9 million verdict for the plaintiff. I have tried a number of jury and bench trials, as well as representing clients at arbitration and meditation. I also enjoy presenting continuing legal education seminars and writing about legal issues that arise in my practice.I graduated cum laude from Northwestern College of Law at Lewis and Clark College. Prior to attending Lewis and Clark, I graduated magna cum laude from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and International Relations.Raised in Bothell, Washington, I am now proud to call Oregon home.I am admitted to practice in Oregon, Washington, New York, and the United States Court it Federal Claims. I also work in other jurisdictions by associating with local attorneys.
