At abandofbrothers, we envision a world where every man realises his potential with a deep sense of meaning, connection, and purpose.Drawing on the wisdom of indigenous cultures, we revitalise the practice of meaningful Rites of Passage and elder mentorship to guide young men into healthy adulthood. Without this support, many risk falling into cycles of disconnection, disaffection, and social decline. In my role, I lead strategic partnerships and patronage development to drive our mission forward. We empower male volunteers to mentor and transform the lives of some of the most disadvantaged and self-destructive young men aged 18–25. Together, we are building a movement of grassroots action to tackle young male disaffection and foster a future of resilience, community, and growth.

ABOUT PETER BARDEN

I had never believed I was worthy of anything, and this weekend helped me realise that I was worthy of a job, a future and more. I really like that all the men are there for each other. It makes such a difference.”Jake, ABandOfBrothers graduate young man Hello and welcome. Since you have wandered down here, let me share a little of why I do this work.I realised at 15 that contributing to tangible peace would be the purpose of my life. Over the years, I have learned that peace begins with understanding who we are and how we show up for each other. For me, healthy masculinity has been the path into that enquiry, and ABandOfBrothers is where that path became real.ABandOfBrothers supports young men who are often carrying trauma, exclusion, or self destructive patterns. Our intergenerational mentorship programmes and nature based rites of passage weekends offer an alternative to cycles of violence, addiction, offending, and hopelessness. Older men and younger men learn what it means to be a healthy man in today’s world. The impact is profound. In short: it works.I now serve as Strategic Partnerships Lead, focusing on two things that matter most for our growth, responsibility and sustainability: finance and amplification. My role is to build relationships with people and organisations who believe in this mission and want to help it grow. That includes high value partnerships, corporate engagement, major donors, and allies who can bring visibility, resources, and long term support. It also includes helping ABandOfBrothers speak with clarity about the deeper inner development work that sits at the heart of what we doIf you are exploring partnership, philanthropy, or meaningful corporate engagement, and want to support the wider cultural shift towards healthy masculinity and mentoring in our workplaces and communities, I welcome a conversation.Let’s talk.
