From 2006 to 2012, Peter was Vice President-Exploration of Peregrine Diamonds Ltd. where he led the team that discovered the Chidliak diamond district on Baffin Island in the Canadian Arctic. In 2019, the Chidliak exploration team will receive two awards for the Chidliak discovery, the 2019 Bill Dennis award given by the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada for a significant mineral discovery and the 2018 Hugo Dummett Diamond award given by the Association for Mineral Exploration of BC. A professional geologist with over 25 years of international experience in mineral exploration, resource evaluation, regional targeting/project generation and senior management. Work experience in southern Africa, Europe (Finland, Scandinavia, Russia), Greenland and Canada Interests: Exploration management & strategy, Machine Learning and Mineral Prospectivity Mapping, Project generation and targeting.
