ABOUT PETER HOLLAND
Mr. Holland is licensed geologist practicing in the fields of engineering geology, environmental geology and economic geology. His current responsibilities include geologic mapping of 7.5 minute quadrangles as part of CGS\'s Geologic Mapping and Digital Compilation project for the San Andreas 30\' x 60\' quadrangle and Note 48 peer review of geologic and seismic hazard investigation reports for DSA regulated school construction projects. His previous experience covered geologic characterization of solid waste, compost, water resources and mining facilities in the Western United States, Canada, Latin America, Asia and Africa. He also has extensive experience in geologic characterization of bridges, roadways, electrical transmission lines and pipelines. Geologic characterization experience includes subsurface drilling, geologic mapping, aerial photo and remote sensing analysis, geomorphic evaluations and geophysical methods. Specialties: geologic hazards, earthquake fault investigations, subsurface modeling, landslide hazards and naturally occurring asbestos.
