ABOUT PETER HENLEY
30+ years’ experience in sewer and drain operations, currently Head of Pollution & Flooding Control and a champion of the correct use of sewers and drains. Passion for improving everything to do with our sewers extends well beyond the standard work of a consultant in the sector, from tree roots through to blockages and storm/combined sewer overflows.My work has impacted the whole of the UK water industry, as well as internationally by training trainers and individuals across the globe on MSCC5 for sewer inspection. Expert witness for sewer misuse cases, co-author of several publications widely used by the industry, and known colloquially as ‘3Ps Pete’ as the result of my quest in local and national media to promote the message of ‘Pee, Poo and Paper’ as the only things that should be flushed. Recognised by the Institute of Water and Unblocktober for this work.
