Peter Goodman is the President and CEO of Solar Power Network (SPN)He founded the company in 2009 with a focus on distributed generation as the building block of the smart grid. SPN’s development pipeline has grown to 300MW, 32 million square feet of roof space, on 600 industrial buildingsPrior to founding SPN, Peter served as Chief Engineer at TELUS. The significant accomplishment– of the build-out of over ground and rooftop cellular sites provided the unparalleled experience for SPN’s focus on rooftop PV deployments.Peter’s success can be attributed to his pre-occupation with high quality design/build practices, developed under the framework of 20-year rooftop leases with major corporate brands. Each site required a unique structural, electrical, roof membrane and operating solution. Infrastructure was implemented and operated without interrupting the building’s core business.Before TELUS, Peter worked in senior engineering leadership roles at AT & T Canada and Bell Canada. In total, Peter’s career encompasses over 30 years of experience providing leadership direction in the strategic rollout of network infrastructure.Peter received his Engineering degree from the University of Toronto.
