ABOUT PETER GALASINAO

Insurance Industry (P&C) SME Peter is a Senior Managing Director at Krauter & Company LLC. Peter has over 20 years of risk management experience including positions as a risk manager, broker and underwriter. Prior to joining Krauter & Co, Peter worked in Willis\' M&A practice where he managed all aspects of due diligence and deliverables to the Private Equity community. In addition, Peter recently worked for two of the Big Four accounting firms (KPMG LLP and Ernst & Young LLP), where he was responsible for the development and delivery of insurance risk management engagements and performed insurance company internal control reviews. Within the course of Peter’s positions, he assisted global conglomerates in the review and reorganization of global insurance risk management organizations; performed Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002 compliance documentation analysis for several Global insurance companies; and managed a $100 million Environmental Remediation program. Prior to becoming an insurance advisor, he was a Regional Marketing Manager and Underwriter at AIG specializing in Loss Portfolio Transfers and Excess Liability. Peter also was a Risk Manager at Union Carbide Corporation. Peter is currently pursuing an M.S. in Applied Statistics at Columbia University. Peter has an M.Phil. in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, a M.B.A in Finance from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
