My career has included nearly 30 years of private practice as a corporate transactional and regulatory lawyer, four years of federal government service, including almost two years in the White House Counsel\'s office, ten years as general counsel of two large and complicated nonprofit organizations, and most recently six years as general counsel of my law firm. I was also the firm\'s hiring partner for eight years and serve as co-chair of its LGBTQ affinity group.I also served for a number of years as a director of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (now NASDAQ PHLX) and chair of its audit committee and as a director of two open-end mutual funds. I have also been a trustee of several nonprofit organizations, including the Music Center of Los Angeles, the New England Conservatory of Music and Groton School.
