ABOUT PETER DYAKOWSKI

At Power Locker, Peter helps lead a dynamic, growing team of former athletes bringing the latest in clean sports nutrition to schools and athletic facilities across the United States and Canada.Prior to joining Power Locker, Peter enjoyed an 11-year CFL career with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Saskatchewan Roughriders. As a professional athlete, Peter established a reputation as one of the best at his position while also fighting for the rights and working conditions of his teammates as a director of the CFL Players’ Association. Peter continued to serve on the board of directors of the CFLPA as Treasurer after his playing career ended, for a total of 8 years, and was also a member of the CFLPA\'s Bargaining Committee through two full rounds of Collective Bargaining in 2019 and 2022. While playing a decade with the Tiger-Cats, Peter gave back to Hamilton off the field wherever he could, actively supporting numerous charity and non-profit initiatives. From 2018 to 2024, Peter contributed for six years as a member of the board of directors of the national injury prevention organization Parachute Canada. Following his football career, Peter accepted a leadership position with Scholars, where he applied his talents to help drive the expansion of North America\'s fastest-growing tutoring system, bringing life-changing educational support to thousands of students. A graduate of Louisiana State University, Peter was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll four times and subsequently won the first edition of the CBC television program \"Canada\'s Smartest Person\". Peter has appeared on other television programs including \"Jeopardy!\",\"Test the Nation\",\"CFL on TSN\",\"Off the Record\",\"The Marilyn Denis Show\",\"CP24 Breakfast\", and \"Morning Live\".Peter lives in Hamilton, Ontario, with his wife and two daughters and still enjoys working out daily, even if it\'s not his job anymore.
