As the Social Chair of Theta Delta Chi, I am responsible for organizing all social events for the fraternity. I am responsible for coming up with event ideas, budgeting, planning, and coordinating with sororities or other groups for mixers, and making sure events are well planned and run smoothly. I oversee setup and cleanup for events, handle advertising so brothers know what’s going on, and make sure events follow risk management guidelines. I also work with the executive board and Risk Manager to ensure events are safe, organized, and enjoyable for everyone. Additionally, I work to enhance alumni engagement and networking opportunities, creating meaningful experiences that build lasting relationships. This role has sharpened my leadership, budgeting, and event management skills while reinforcing the importance of teamwork and organization.
