ABOUT PETER DEEN
I have CSWIP 3.1 and ASME Level 1 Plant inspection but I am a time served plater with over 25 years experience.My background is industrial boilers as I served my time at a boiIerworks, but over the years I have worked on refineries in Denmark, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to name but a few. I have also worked on nuclear plants, but the main work I have undertaken has been on coal, gas and biomass power stations. Both new build and outages. I have been a charge hand on jobs in the past and know how to run a small team of people using my knowledge in my chosen field of plating, along with my ability to interact with other trades. I can get the best out of people by using humour and by being approachable. I am fully capable of using different techniques of forming of steel as well as the cutting processes associated with my trade whether its oxy fuel cutting or plasma cutting. Marking out is my favourite part of the job along with problem solving. The former I have used different methods and I am fully confident whether developing something simple as pipe branches or square to round transition pieces. I\'m not one to put all fancy words down on paper to try and make me look better than I am but I do like to strive for perfection and I do have a work ethic which shows me as a hard working leader who is willing to learn!My main objectives are to gain as much knowledge as I can within the inspection industry and by having over 20 years experience within the fabrication industry I feel like I can offer the best of both worlds!
