I am an upstream process & concept engineer with wide experience over 14 years in Shell International Exploration & Production and now in WoodGroupKenny. I offer significant expertise in gas processing and LNG plants, gas treating, dynamic modelling, field development planning / concept engineering, early phase project development and flow assurance / multiphase pipelines. I am recognized as an excellent communicator and facilitator, which I have used in previous roles both in project offices and at operating facilities to deliver cross-discipline solutions. I bring original insights and ideas, both technical and commercial, to new problems. I efficiently tackle complex issues and absorb large amounts of information, working through the details to get to a solution whilst not losing the overview. I can approach difficult situations with sensitivity and a sense of humor and take on board a range of perspectives. I am sensitive to diverse cultures, the diversity of colleagues and non-technical areas such as sustainable development. I have MEng in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Sheffield and I am an Associate Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers.Specialties: My responsibilities have ranged from LNG plant design, flow assurance during design through to start-up of a multiphase system, project management for a cutting-edge real time operations project, identification and resolution of slug-catcher design issues, management of comprehensive safety reviews of gas plants and platforms, performance of engineering follow-up to close out findings, and delivery of over 70 field-development workshops within Shell.
