ABOUT PETER CLARKE

I combine two complimentary parts of my working life in travel. My main focus is driving growth and learning through heading up the Guaranteed Departure Programmes at Tour Partner Group, Europe\'s leading Destination Management Company - a role adapted for my broad set of skills in commercial, operations, contracting, product and marketing, that allows me to work collaboratively across many departments and all markets. I created Etoffer Marketing to stay connected to the European Holiday Parks sector after nearly 20 years\' self-development culminating in experiences as a Managing Director of Canvas Holidays and VP North Europe at Vacalians (since part of the European Camping Group). Etoffer offers consulting advice primarily in commercial and marketing to European Holiday Parks looking to develop their visitor numbers from the UK.I work to create unique and exciting experiences. My leadership philosophy is that taking care of the teams around you means that they will, in turn, take care of the business and its customers. As a compassionate leader and a manager, I strive to create a safe environment with empathy where people feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear, with a view to creating a collective vision and buy-in. With the team\'s input, I can make informed decisions that are backed up by a clear strategy to achieve the vision.Outside of work, I’m passionate about the great outdoors and its positive impact on people as a mind-expanding and life-changing experience. I also care deeply about music, creativity, innovation, design and Liverpool Football Club!A dad of two and a partner, I want my family to see me as someone who was committed and conscientious in their work because they loved it.
