ABOUT PETER MCARDLE
Strategic and people-centric leader with over two decades of experience driving operational excellence, leadership development, and cultural transformation across global manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors.My career began at Toyota, where I progressed from graduate engineer to senior leadership roles including Head of Quality, Head of Production Control (SCM), and Head of the Toyota Lean Management Centre. Working across UK sites and spending a formative year in Japan, I gained deep expertise in the Toyota Production System and a passion for developing people and systems that deliver sustainable performance.In 2021, I transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry, joining Organon during its spin-off from MSD. As Business Excellence Partner (formerly Business Consultant for IPS), I lead enterprise-wide initiatives to embed lean thinking, strengthen leadership capability, and align strategy through Hoshin Kanri. My focus is on building resilient management systems, fostering a culture of problem solving, and enabling leaders to unlock their full potential.I bring my unique blend of technical depth, strategic insight, and people-first leadership to help shape high-performing, purpose-driven organisations.
