An experienced accountant, working in Corporate Finance for over twenty five years before deciding to do something new, working as a Senior Consultant for WeBid Consult, focused on large civils and infrastructure project bids (such as HS2 and Sellafield) working with UK and international construction and engineering clients. Please see the WeBid website for further details on what we do and how we do it. I live in a small village close to Bolsover in the far east of Derbyshire, close to the Nottinghamshire border. It\'s an area of beautiful rolling agricultural land and nature walks, slowly repairing the scars from the old mining industry that is all but gone apart from a few reminders. In my spare time I am interested in the Great War, sports and music. I bear the cross of being a lifelong Crewe Alexandra fan. I am also a trustee of The Great War Group, founded as a non-profit, Foundation CIO to promote education on, and commemoration of the First World War.
