ABOUT PETER BINDON

I have extensive, in-depth experience of software development team leadership, business systems/applications management and IT project/programme management successfully delivering complex business change across a wide variety of sectors and clients. As well as a thorough understanding of software development processes, I have strong a customer relationship focused approach to work and can operate at all levels in an organisation with the ability to focus on both task and people. Additionally, I have solid supplier management skills required to ensure successful product delivery into organisations.I have managed a wide range of software technologies and have successfully lead continuous improvement initiatives in those areas. I also have a solid grounding in the support activities required to maintain business critical systems. Projects have been managed covering the full project lifecycle using structured methodologies such as Prince 2 or local variations covering both waterfall and agile techniques with projects ranging in size and complexity.I am self-motivated and excel at ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service through trust, openness and an attention to detail along with a thorough understanding of the business needs and demands. Using my strong communication skills, I have the ability to translate those requirements through to the technical teams and vice versa to ensure momentum is maintained throughout the delivery process and onto achieving a successful completion. I have a resilient project-centred approach with focus on risk management and communication.
