ABOUT PETER BAILEY

I have worked as a Project Manager for T-Systems since March 2011 largely on the BP account. During this time I have worked on a number of large projects and programs – the most significant of these are listed below- delivery of MPLS circuits to BP, SABMiller & TUI - the transition of BP Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) into T-Systems Operational Support- managing the T-Systems contribution to major BP Datacentre DR exercises - implementing the T-Systems components of BP’s 2nd generation Shared Infrastructure - implementing BP’s Global QoS policy across the network estate - program managing the rollout of WAAS appliances in BP Upstream locations on a call-off basis - delivering a Proof of Concept of the T-Systems Dynamic workplace Platform (DWP) product to BP These have been delivered on time and within budget and all have required liaison and negotiation with BP management at various levels. I have worked across multiple accounts with the most significant piece of work being the Peroni, Grolsch & Miller Brands separation program on the SABMiller account. Most recently I have worked in the pre-sales environment gathering the necessary information to produce and present Statement of Work quotes to BP’s procurement division. I possess strong inter-personal qualities and have the ability to create and maintain excellent customer relationships which assist in the delivery of both projects and service provision. I have strong leadership qualities which have been utilised in the management of several teams. I possess excellent analytical skills and a tenacious attitude which assists in the achievement of set deliverables. I relish the prospect of new challenges and actively seek opportunities to improve both personally and professionally.
