ABOUT PETER KWASI SARPONG AMPRAKO
I am an Agile Product Design Team Lead at The Ronnie K. Irani Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth (I-CCEW), where I lead a team of five engineering students to develop a device that senses tobacco residue for the US market. I am also pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma, where I have gained a solid foundation in engineering principles, design, and analysis. I have strong skills in presentations, problem solving, and communication, which I have demonstrated in various academic and professional projects. As an Agile Product Design Team Lead, I engage with clients, to ensure their requirements are understood and addressed, and facilitate effective communication, foster collaboration, and promote knowledge sharing within the team. I have also worked as a System Administrator and a Learning Spaces Technician at the University of Oklahoma, where I supported the IT infrastructure and services for the campus community. I am passionate about applying my engineering skills and creativity to solve real-world problems and create social impact.
