ABOUT PETER AHRENS

Having worked within PACCAR since I left college, I’m completely engrained in the business. As with most people working for PACCAR and Leyland Trucks, I’m focused on the success of our whole group. Working here is about much more than building trucks. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment which sees many great minds come together to solve tomorrow’s transportation challenges. We give everyone in the business the opportunity to contribute; whether you’ve been with us for two days or two decades, your ideas are valued.Our collective responsibility is ensuring that we are producing trucks at record quality and volume levels, while continuing to enhance our vehicles in line with changing trends and customer demand. As managing director, my priority is ensuring Leyland Trucks continues as one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and that we provide our people with world class opportunities.
