I am incredibly passionate about technology and am dedicated to creating a culture of improving quality within the software development industry. I am currently striving for this as an Engineering Manager focussing on software quality at Pixieset.Previously, I have lead QA and teams TouchBistro and FreshBooks, here in Toronto, and at Vend in New Zealand, where I worked with many QA team members to constantly improve the quality of not just the software, but everything involved in that. Not just through their testing, but with the constant improvement of themselves, their teams, and any processes used to build the software, from conception to delivery.I also enjoyed attending local tech meet-ups and was involved in hosting and organising some of these meet-ups in Auckland.
