In his professional career, Pete was an information technology leader - experienced in consulting, retail, and digital government. He was most recently the Senior Director of Product Development for Tyler Technologies, NIC Division, responsible for all product and platform software development, including enterprise architecture, for NIC\'s product verticals. In his prior role at NIC, he was the technology leader for the Texas business unit, Texas.gov, responsible for technology strategy, engineering, and operations.Prior to joining NIC, he was the IT Director for The Home Depot, leading the IT teams focused on the company\'s e-commerce capabilities. He started his career working at Ernst & Young in a management consulting role, focused on Information Technology.He holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. He and his family reside in Austin, Texas.
