We resolve your legal, professional or personal disputes inexpensively and quickly. Virtually anything that has to be litigated can be mediated, often for 1/10th of the cost and usually in 1/10th of the time.\"The Negotiators\" is a small to mid-sized mediation firm in Georgia and in Western Canada, with head offices both in Atlanta and Edmonton. Mediation is the non-adversarial (but highly structured) intervention between people or companies to reach settlement, compromise and understanding. We mediate in person, as well as through teleconferencing, video-conferencing, and any secure social media applications. We mediate divorces, estate settlements, landlord/tenant disputes, labor contracts, grievances, diversity issues, wrongful dismissal allegations, trade agreements, quality complaints, debt, educational issues and workplace bullying, among many other issues. Pete is one of Canada’s Chartered Mediators and a Qualified Arbitrator, as well as a Registered Mediator and Arbitrator throughout the United States. He has completed over 3,500 corporate and public sector mediations covering 13 countries and four continents. Pete’s mediation firm, “The Negotiators” is capable of conducting mediations and arbitrations in English, French and Spanish. Pete also has a strong professional and personal infrastructure in Brazil. France, Malaysia and New Zealand. Before returning to Canada, “The Negotiators” was named one of Atlanta’s top 10 Small Businesses of the Year in 2009 / 2010.Pete is the retired Executive Director of the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society AAMS). He also recently was a presiding judge at the World University Mediation Championships in Brazil.He is a renowned instructor in conflict management, communicating through change and stress, workplace disputes and corporate etiquette. Pete is the author of the original “Blue Book on Advanced Negotiations”.
