ABOUT PETE SCHWINGLER
Peter Schwingler is a litigator with significant experience in antitrust and class action defense. He represents clients in matters involving a range of issues, including antitrust, bankruptcy, corporate governance, insurance and consumer finance. Pete is a skilled advocate with experience in all phases of litigation. After beginning his career with the firm, Pete spent four years as a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. While at DOJ, Pete investigated and tried several high profile matters, including the government\'s successful challenge of Anthem\'s proposed $54 billion merger with Cigna. Pete also served as an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, where he taught legal writing and analysis. Pete returned to Stinson in 2018 as a partner in its Class Action and Financial Services Litigation group.
