   As CGI\'s General Counsel, Pete is responsible for keeping watch over the multitude of issues that arise in all branches of the company - from marketing and sales to distribution and finance; from human resources and general administration to corporate governance and business strategy. Pete sits on the Executive Committee, reports directly to the CEO and, while exercising a very broad, generalized role, works closely with all corporate officers and their departments. Pete also renders legal advice, oversees outside litigation, and handles specialized tasks related to intellectual property, mergers & acquisitions, and employment law.
