I am a Senior Finance Business Partner at Freightliner, partnering with the Maintenance Directorate to drive disciplined financial management and strategic performance through a period of significant organisational transformation. Leveraging a commercial mindset and a rapidly developed understanding of the rail industry, I provide senior leaders with clear, forward-looking insight that strengthens decision-making and supports long-term value creation.I lead the directorate’s planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring financial clarity, robust governance, and alignment to business priorities. My focus is on identifying and shaping the key drivers of performance—anticipating risks, converting opportunities, and enabling the delivery of revenue growth and efficiency targets.I work closely with directors and project sponsors to assess major investment proposals, applying rigorous appraisal techniques to ensure resources are deployed where they generate the greatest strategic and operational impact. I maintain a strong control environment, ensuring financial integrity across all reporting and interactions with Freightliner governance forums.Developing capability is central to my leadership approach. I support budget holders and operational leaders in building strong financial and commercial acumen, enabling more informed, accountable, and empowered decision-making across the business.
