Functional leader for U.S. and Canada payroll activities, responsible for development of payroll strategy and overseeing a strong governance and control framework. Achieve timely and accurate payroll processing in the U.S. and monitor activities of workers engaged in recording hours of work, processing time records, compiling payroll statistics, maintaining payroll control records, and calculating payrolls. Develop Company\'s procedures and policies with U.S. business partners to ensure accurate compliance and reporting. Maintain understanding of U.S. resident and non-resident alien payroll laws and regulations. Coordinate and direct the preparation of all payroll accounting and reporting in the U.S. Hire, train and develop the U.S. payroll team members. Responsible for U.S. expat assignment coordination with home and host country payroll teams. Assist with framework for training and development of U.S. payroll teams as well as facilitate sharing of payroll best practices. Lead the team in U.S. expansion initiatives and provide insight for third-party vendor(s) to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
