ABOUT PETE DOMBROSKY

I was most recently the Director of Editorial Operations, Lifestyle at Vox Media. I lead the day-to-day operational functions of Thrillist, Eater, Punch, and Popsugar editorial, ensuring that our sites are always running efficiently, workflows are optimized, and the user experience is seamless.I have been associated with the world of journalism since my freshman year of undergrad at Penn State University, where I received a degree in journalism and wrote for Penn State\'s student newspaper, The Daily Collegian. Upon graduation, I was hired by Chelo Publishing as an Assistant Editor for the magazines Exercise for Men, Men\'s Exercise, and Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness. After the company closed, I went on to serve as an Editorial Assistant for Impact Communication Partners and later, as an Editorial Assistant at Thrillist Media Group. I later went on to become Copy Chief, Assistant Managing Editor, Managing Editor, and finally the Editorial Operations Director before the company was acquired by Vox Media.In I my personal time, I love watching and attending sports. In 2024 alone, I attended more than 50 live sporting events, including boxing, MLB, NCAA basketball, NCAA football, NFL, EPL, cricket (the T20 World Cup), and NHL games. In the span of seven days, I visited four different Major League Baseball stadiums in three different cities.
