Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization’s executives, department heads, and end-users regarding pertinent IT activities. • Formalized the organizations IT function and worked with leadership to achieve organizational objectives through the use of technology. • Built and developed a team of highly proficient IT Staff. • Implemented enterprise and functional IS solutions in R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, Doc Mgmt, OPs and Quality. • Built and championed a cloud centric IT strategy (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS) to assure a secure, scalable and highly available IT environment in support of the business’s heavy use of geographically dispersed remote workforce (Sales and MSLs), consultants, CROs, CMOs and business partners. • Shortened implementation timeframes, reduced CapEx, and improved system dependability and capability. • Developed and implemented IT SOPs, policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, purchasing, and service provisioning.
