ABOUT PETAR TORLAK

An individual who possesses a good balance of analytical and quantitative skills, great communication and leadership abilities, along with a strong sense of ethical guidance. Petar’s experience as professional athlete helped him acquire outstanding time management and organizational skills, as well as discipline, ability to perform under pressure and interpersonal skills, while developing teamwork attitude. Petar provides guidance to clients through CRE portfolio optimization and operating model transformation, and delivers CRE portfolio analysis, rationalization, synergies and optimization execution throughout all phases of the transaction lifecycle. During his international career in both United States and Europe, Petar has helped CRE occupiers, operators, owners and investors achieve synergies and mitigate risks during corporate transformations and transactions across all property types, including office, warehouse, and multi-use facilities. Petar’s technical specialties include CRE portfolio strategy, including M&A separation and integration planning, acquisition and disposition due diligence, one time and standalone costing, operating model, footprint optimization, cost reduction, performance improvement, organizational alignment, CRE governance and strategic site selection. He has experience in various sectors, including Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility, Health & Life Sciences, Private Equity, Energy, FSO, GPS, Consumer Products & Retail.Petar is a European Basketball Champion and has represented his home country of Serbia is 2016 Olympic Games. He is a lifetime member of prestigious organizations such as National Society of Collegiate Scholars, National Society of Leadership and Success, Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society and Golden Key International Honor Society. He takes pride in being an active member of the CoreNet Global New York City Chapter, Urban Land Institute of New York and Real Estate Institute Student Association at NYU.
