Lead investigator on a GTEx-based project analyzing small non-coding RNA sequencing data across thousands of samples and multiple human tissues. The research focuses on small RNA-mediated trans-eQTLs and miRNA-driven regulation of gene expression and complex traits. It led to the discovery of novel causal microRNA-coding gene interactions using integrative analyses of large-scale genotype and transcriptomic datasets. Manuscript in preparation for submission to Nature.Collaborating with the Causality and Learning (CLeaR) Group at Carnegie Mellon to develop causal inference-based machine learning methods for single-cell RNA-seq analysis. Published work in leading machine learning conferences.
