I am retired, but now serve under the staff Director of IT, as a volunteer, focused on developing an IT strategy to support and empower the people at Hillside Community Church to fulfill our mission to \"See God\'s hope transform our cities one story at a time!\" The focus of the work will be to find ways for our processes and technologies to enable our people to spend more time caring for one other and for those in our cities. This includes helping to create a stable and sustainable IT infrastructure, effective and sustainable processes, and a cohesive team with the necessary skill sets and maturity to equip the next generation of IT team members to function effectively beyond our tenure.In addition, I serve in the helping to create a culture of discipleship within the church community.
