Start-up and A&D oil & gas engineering leader with 20+ years’ experience in small to intermediate sized domestic and international companies. Expertise includes senior management, strategic planning, economic evaluations, production engineering, and operations. Complementary skills in exploitation engineering, oil and gas marketing, and facilities project management. Proven ability to identify opportunities, negotiate favorable terms, develop action plans, and engage all stakeholders to deliver outstanding results. SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS Acquisition and Divestiture - Negotiated purchase of a mature oil field from a major Canadian oil and gas company for Decreased field decline, reduced operating costs, and increased booked reserves through infill drilling, high volume lifts, and field water separation. Turned into in ~2 years, including in proceeds from the property sale. Start-Up - Started Ascent Energy with capital in 2002. Identified opportunities to acquire underexploited wells. Negotiated the purchase of 10 wells over 4 years. Reactivated wells by swabbing, CO2 squeezes, and plunger lift/compressor installations. Sold company to an intermediate producer for in 2006. Faro Virgenes Reactivation - Reactivated Arpetrol’s Southern Argentina Gas Plant and Gas Field. Set up a multidisciplinary team; programmed, recompleted, and reactivated 2 gas wells. Brought a shut-in 85mmcf/d gas plant back into service. Negotiated natural gas and liquids sales agreements; quarterbacked preparation of third party engineering reports. Broad Foundational Skills - Purposefully built career on a foundation of 5+ years’ as a Service Rig Supervisor, Field Engineer, Production Engineer, Facilities Engineer, and Gas Marketer at Norcen Energy. Completed projects, and engineering initiatives to drive production, reduce operating costs and improve profitability. Built foundation for start-up and A&D successes.
