Perry has over 30 years of university level teaching and consulting experience in the areas of litigation support and business interest valuations. Perry retired from the College of Charleston as Professor Emeritus of Finance in 2007 and joined Dixon Hughes Goodman on a full-time basis at that time. Throughout his teaching career he maintained an active consulting practice, specializing in valuation services and litigation support. Perry has extensive experience in valuing companies and various classes of securities and ownership interests. These engagements have involved a diverse range of industries for gift and estate planning purposes, tax planning, merger and acquisition advisory purposes and S-Corp conversions. Perry has extensive expert testimony experience in a wide range of matters including complex commercial litigation and personal tort claims. Engagements range from class action litigation to a variety of commercial matters including lost profits, breach of contract and construction litigation.
